The Gift

I had wanted to work on a writing project with some author friends. I invited Kaye Kelly, Thresa Snyder, and Iona Morrison to collaborate with me on a short story.

The only 'unstated rule' was to keep it in 3rd person. I wanted each author to choose their favorite character(s) to take a role in our little story.

My pitch to them was that I'll get it started and send it out in a group email and if they had something to follow they would type it in there, then post it back in the group email. We would continue in this way until we reached an end.

This project was a total free write session as we had no laid out plans. We didn't know where we were going to take this little story. All we knew is that we wanted to do this to offer it free to our devoted followers and friends as a way of saying thank you.
