Winter's Parade

Snowy Night

Winter's parade comes but once a year
with sleigh bells jingling for all to hear
With chestnuts for roasting on open fires
and children singing in Christmas choirs

Winters parade marches in with ribbons, and tinsel everywhere,
with gingerbread and pumpkin pies awaft in the air
With farm and home now dressed in snow
ushers in the warmth of Christmas aglow.

Winter's chill the silent night brings
tis the chorus of Angel's heard in the treetops whisperings
Snowflakes falling all across the land
winter's parade comes with peace and joy in hand.
